Liebster Award Nommy!

Thankyou, Minna/ brightoneagle for Nominating me for a Liebstar award! I am honoured! Even if its an award that exists only in the internet, given by bloggers to other bloggers in aim to discovering small bloggers, i am truelly happy, because comeon! Even if my blog has over 3000 views, i wasnt actually sure if viewers do read it!

For a random stranger, living all the way in Japan, to access a blog written in the MiddleEast, by an African woman who lives in Europe! I have to say internet is doing us justice as much as its the major cause of unhappy parents to what their kids have access to! I am glad we can share our views on life and get to read from others too.

Anyhow, once nominated i have to follow the rules and give my honest answers to questions posed, and also pay it forward and nominate other small bloggers for this award which means alot to us who understand. So here are my answers and as honest as they can be: 

1.  What is your favourite quote?

To be honest, I have no idea, I read lots of inspiration, motivational, courage quotes out there.

2. If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, what would you do today?

Spread the love, spread positive energy😇

3. If you could go back in time, how old would you want to be and why?

29.! I let me be and allowed myself to love self no matter what anybody else's opinion about me was! That was simply their opinion not mine! I have been very content ever since.

4. What is a place you would not want to Visit?

Not a specific place but anywhere governed by IS militants! I hate war!

5. Do you have a stereotype of a Finnish Person?

 Not anymore but 5 years ago, they were to me: shy(while sober), cold, sitting naked with the whole family having beer in a Sauna😃

6. What's the first image/ memory that comes up of your childhood?

My wonderful grandmother! I have million a tales about her! That woman is beyond woman! 9 kids, dozens of grandkids who all get-togethered to her place during school holidays. A blog for another day..

7. A mod-con that you would not be able to live without?

Running water- well I can and have lived without it but the hussle is not worth the tassule! (Don't ask what that means) it just felt good to write.

8. Sport that you do not think is a sport!?

Sports that leave people damaged! Boxing, wrestling etc, they should just be called fights!

9. Rice, Pasta or Potato

All, done in different styles always..eaten in different ways😝

10. Do you believe in Aliens?

Only in my dreams and Tv.

11. If you were not human, what Animal would you want to be?

A cat! I mean.. Sleep.. Feed me.. Brush me., clean my toilet bin, sleep..sleep .. Brush me... Play with me.. Pet me.. Sleep! Sleeeeeeeep!

Empower the girl child!

what is it that comes to my mind when i think about the girl child? Alot i could say! Alot! Me having being one of them, it saddens me how the girl child comes out as! well, sometimes we enjoy it we cant say we dont( esp for attention lovers! like me! ha!). Depending on which part of the world you grow up in and the way communities have valued the girl child. I was over the moon when saudi agreed to send the female team to the olympics(hands up men! good job well done). To believe that a woman's place is somewhere, at home, taking care of husband and children while the men explore the world is a totally unfair thing! Imagine the pressure on those women, to shine and show the world that they deserved that after fighting for long! And down in history it will go, that women did participate in the olympics and am soo glad it starts from here! Mamma: Fare thee well; our fallen Hero!

I met you just about 5 years ago, i remember that day clearly, a stormy snowy November Evening. We had driven to Perniö through this shit storm. You had waited for a while to meet me, so excited your daughter had found love again. You couldn't wait and had called a few times trying to find out how far we were. I was quite nervous on the other hand, i thought of the petty stupid things, i thought of my colour and my presentation and wondered if you would approve. I was anxious for nothing as you proved to me..silly me.. Then we arrived, butterflies filled my tummy! You were standing by the door before I even got out the car,  and the moment I did, you stretched your arms, hugged and said ' welcome to our home, you have been so awaited,' the butterflies vanished, just like that, because that's the kind of woman you were!
